IHEA-World (International Hunter Education Association – World) is the global coordinating body for hunter education organizations. We connect member nations across North America, Australia, and beyond, working together to establish and maintain international standards for safe and ethical hunting.
Founded on the principles of conservation, safety, and respect for wildlife and landowners, IHEA-World serves as the authoritative voice for hunter education on the world stage — advocating for the tradition of hunting as a tool for wildlife management and conservation funding.
IHEA-World is governed by a Board of Directors comprised of representatives from each member nation. The Board convenes annually to set strategic direction, review accreditation applications, approve standards revisions, and oversee the organization’s finances and programs.
